Happy 2016

A new year and lots of new poetry to look forward to. Here’s some of my poetry highlights for 2016: new collections by J O Morgan (Cape), William Letford (Carcanet), Selima Hill (Bloodaxe) and Judy Brown (Seren). Also looking forward to Island Home: a landscape memoir (Penguin) by Australian author Tim Winton which examines the relationship between writing and place, something I’m fascinated by.

I’m happy to be booked up already to go to StAnza, St. Andrew’s poetry festival in early March with Pascale Petit, Sean O’Brien and Andrew Mcmillan among others reading. Hoping also to take some days off for events at the Edinburgh Book Festival in August. But before that a trip to Lahore and finalising drafts of a first collection…Happy New year to y’all.
